• Art Night will be on May 2nd, 2013 on Thursday night. Times are 5:00 p.m. Until 9:00 p.m. Come meet Gina Brown our artist!

• This month there will be no Repurposing Jewelry class this month.  We are going to try something new and try our hand at the Vintage Market. The Vintage Market will be located in the Northport Farmers Market, from 11:00 until 4:00, Sunday.

Welcome to the Renaissance Art Gallery.  Rich in history from the old cotton and gin mills,Choctaw Indians and the Civil War, our Gallery is nestled amongst a wealth of historical culture.  Our gallery represents 23 Southern artists and boasts of its wide variety of original works including a strong representation of Folk Art, Contemporary pieces, Figural paintings and Realism.  We have been located at 431 Main Avenue for over 18 years now and are deeply entrenched in the community.

May  shows promise of beautiful weather for Alabama.  Bringing in the playful side for the Gallery is May’s Featured Artist Gina Brown.  Gina’s works are getting better and better all the time!  For her show this month she is bringing the best pieces I have ever seen from her!  She will will new birds, bunnies, flowers and some wonderful landscapes.  Gina is using lots of texture in her brushstrokes and yummy, sensuous colors.  Wait til you see what she has brought!
